A brief word about your generous donations

We have already received several donations and we appreciate them all. None are too small and when we all work together, little bits can really add up fast! Thank you all so much. Your for support our project means a lot!

As the "responsible" adult, I do think it's important to let you know how your donations will be spent.

Fist of all, we are not a government-recognized charity such as a 501c-3 or anything like that. So unfortunately your donations may not be tax deductible. There are no plans to change that at this point.

However, we do plan to use ALL donations directly meeting the needs of pets living houseless or experiencing poverty in Boise. This may include things such as food, leashes, chew toys, beds/blankets, or (if we can raise enough) essential veterinary services.

We are committed to using your money with transparency. We will keep donated funds in a separate unique account at the credit union. We will try to regularly publish receipts of items/services we buy on this website, so you can be confident your hard-earned cash is being well spent.

We are committed to being all-volunteer, so all money can go directly to helping these loving companions do what they do best. We invite you to join us at Mutual Aid distro on Mondays from 5-6PM at Rhodes Park to get a better idea about the needs of the pets we meet.

In the event this service project someday ends and has unspent funds, we will donate any remaining monies to the Boise Mutual Aid Collective and/or local animal welfare organizations whose missions overlap with ours.
